Hangar 9 1/3 scale Extra 330L Model Airplane Review

EXTRA 330L 1/3 SCALE ARF (2BXS)

The plane arrived today, Jan. 10, '02. This is my first impression upon opening the box and weighing the contents. I will update as assembly progresses. I will be receiving my ZDZ 80cc single within a week or two.

First impression...

The covering and color scheme looks nice. There is wrinkling on the fuse that needs to be ironed out, but considering the plane has traveled half way around the world, it is acceptable. The fuselage structure has generous lightening holes--as much or more than any of the high quality small company planes that are out there.

I weighed all of the components on an accurate gram scale, and this is what I came up with:
